A new Nashville-based, digital focused record label imprint, Rollin’ the Dice Records goes live with launch of their official website.
Now more than ever, we find ourselves in an ever-evolving landscape of music creation and development that allows the artist to deliver directly to the consumer a finished product. As a result, new artist management & development has adapted to meet this ever-changing environment.
In recent years artist development has become a vital part of the day to day operations of artist management companies when it comes to signing new artists. Recognizing this, Erv Woolsey, CEO & Founder of the long tenured Erv Woolsey Company (EWC) home to country star LeeAnn Womack, and flagship artist and music icon George Strait along with many other formidable artists, made the decision to expand the company with the creation of Rollin’ The Dice Records.
Focused primarily on select EWC artists, the digital imprint executes all marketing and distribution of releases. This newly formed label arm of EWC will develop distribution and label service partnerships that cater to each artist’s or project’s individual needs and specifications. “We aren’t by any means trying nor do we want to play the mainstream record label game. But with modern technology and so many creative outlets at our disposal in this day and age, it allows us the opportunity to give our newer artists or select passion projects a stronger start and higher profile early in the development of their career,” says Woolsey.
